Matchday 3 of the Icon League Season Two was a real thriller! In the absolute top match, our FC PLYRS UNITED faced the equally strong Wontorriors FC . And it was a real nail-biter! 😮💨
The game started unluckily: In the 8th minute, Stefan Winkel 's powerful shot hit the inside of the post – and in the immediate counterattack, the Wontorriors struck with ice-cold precision: 0:1.
Shortly afterward, the PLYRS pulled their rulebreaker " Wrong Position " in the 13th minute – looking to turn the game around. But once again, it was the Wontorriors who scored: 0:2 in the 14th minute. 😤
But then came our number 8's big moment: Stefan Winkel brought the PLYRS back into the game with a goal in the 15th minute – 1:2 ! And the pressure continued to mount.
The Wontorriors also tried the "Wrong Position" rulebreaker in the 17th minute – but this time the PLYRS held their own. In the 21st minute, it was Winkel again who equalized the game at 2-2 with his second goal! 💥
